Highway kilometres are where bonnets die, and Octavias do more of them than most. Self-healing film across the bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors absorbs years of country road spray, fitted in about two days.

Wagon Cargo Tint

Detailing Before Coating

Skodas a few years into their life get machine polished before any coating goes on. Locking swirl marks under ceramic preserves them forever, so we remove them first and coat second. We cover Mazda on its own page.

Ten Year Film Warranty

The film is warranted ten years against yellowing and cracking, longer than most people keep a car. The workshop on Cook Road is a five minute walk from Mitcham station for an easy drop off.

Jacky and the team came highly recommended. I was nervous because it's a brand new car (Kia Stinger) and I was being precious. After speaking to Jacky, I realised there was no way I could do ceramic coating with the dealership. It took around 6-8 weeks to get in. I went with package 3 which was tint, ceramic coat and interior but Jacky was able to adjust as I chose not to do the interior.

Some places allow you to pay for better, best and then perfect service. The default position here is only the best will do. Jacky and the rest of team are totally committed to the highest of standards on top of that their customer service is second to none. Hence why I was happy to do a 6 hour round trip, twice, to have them do PPF and ceramic. Don’t go anywhere else as there is no need. Simple amazing product…

Do you cover the whole Skoda range?

Yes. Octavia, Superb, Kodiaq, Kamiq and Fabia all have film patterns available, RS versions included with their different bumpers. Anything unusual gets bulk fitted by hand instead.

Is ceramic coating enough for highway driving?

Not on its own. Coating handles UV and grime, but a stone at highway speed goes straight through it. Film stops the chips, coating keeps it clean, and over film it runs from $650.

How long does a front end take?

About two days in the workshop. Most owners drop the car Monday morning and collect it Wednesday, with the train from Mitcham station covering the commute in between.

Will film mark the paint when removed?

No. Cured factory paint releases film cleanly, even after years in the sun. Resprayed panels are the exception, which is why we check repair history before fitting anything.
