BMW M Paint Protection
BMW M2, M3 and M4 Paint Protection in Melbourne
M cars arrive with flared arches that catch stones, carbon roofs that live under Australian UV, and in many cases frozen paint that BMW says must never be polished. Film is the one protective layer that suits all three. Liquid R protects the M range weekly in Mitcham. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888. You will find the same detail for Skoda and Renault.

Frozen and Matte Paint Film
BMW’s own care guidance rules out polishing frozen paint, so a scratch is permanent. Satin PPF matches the frozen sheen, takes the damage and self-heals, making it the only repairable layer a frozen car can wear. There are dedicated guides for Tesla and EV protection.
Full Front PPF
Bonnet, bumper, guards, mirrors and headlights. M bumper intakes are large and low, and the film wraps every edge the airflow drags stones across. We have written the same guidance for the Tesla Model S and supercar protection.
Carbon Roof and Spoiler Film
Clear coated carbon yellows and chalks under UV years before paint does. Optically clear film blocks the UV and keeps the weave crisp on roofs, spoilers and mirror caps. The same work is set out for the Porsche 911 and Ferrari.
Full Body PPF
Every painted panel wrapped, the pick for Individual colours and long term keepers. The factory paint underneath stays sealed from its first week.
Ceramic Coating
Gtechniq ceramic for gloss cars, with matte safe alternatives for frozen finishes that must never see polish. Compare options on the coating page.
Wear and Tear Pack
Door edges and cups, boot ledge and sill strips. M seats sit low and heels drag across sills more than most cars; the film takes it instead of the paint.
Window Tinting
Ceramic IR keeps black M interiors bearable in January and protects the dash. Metal free films only, fitted to Victorian legal limits. See tint options.
Gloss Black Roof Without Carbon
Steel roof cars get the carbon look with gloss black colour PPF, protection included. Finishes and pricing on the colour transformation page.
Brake Dust and Wheel Care
M compound brakes dust hard and hot. Wheel ceramic lets the dust rinse off before it bonds to the finish, and the daily care routine lives on our aftercare page.

Very professional. Great job. Thanks

Jacky and his team did an amazing job taking all the tree sap off my white Mazda cx5. I had left it on for months so it was really stuck onto my paint nothing i tried worked and other detailers couldn't get it off properly. My car now looks brand new. Was a bit pricey for me but it is worth it since my car looks like it's straight out of a dealership now.

Simply great !!

The guys were fantastic, they took their time showing me the different products and were very knowledgeable. I had PPF applied to my previous vehicle by another company and wasn't happy with the result, however this time the job was impeccable. The upgrades I selected raised the price substantially, but it was worth it. I'll be taking my other cars there as well. I highly recommend Liquid R.

3 cars in 5 years! Jacky, Bobby and their team have consistently provided excellent service all these years. From ceramic coating to PPF of my new car and to clean up of my cars for sale. The experience and skills of the team gives me great confidence that my cars are in good hands. Great work Liquid R!

I asked the guys to help with ceramic coating and tinting my vehicle and was super pleased with the results. The place looks super high-tech and very clean and the consultation seemed like they really care about paint and wrapping/tinting. Had to leave car overnight for the ceramic coating and tinting to take, so when you book keep this in mind. On pickup the car was ready and waiting and I was taken through the…

Hey there! So, you've been eyeing up that ceramic-coated shine for your ride, right? Well, let me tell you about my experience at Liquid R. It took a bit of patience to snag a spot – a couple of months, to be exact – but boy, was it worth the wait! At first, I admit, I had my doubts. But as soon as I saw the finished job, any hesitation melted away like snow in the Aussie sun.

Jacky and team at Liquid R were extremely knowledgable, helpful and professional. Jacky was very accomodating with my appointment and rescheduled multiple times due to delays with the arrival of my new car. The PPF, ceramic coating and tinting was done well, and the ongoing support is also great (my million questions were all answered!). Highly recommended for any level of detailing required!

Correct. Polishing burnishes the matte texture and leaves permanent gloss patches. Satin film is the only layer that can take damage and be renewed.
Satin film sits within the sheen range of BMW frozen paint. On a full panel the change is effectively invisible; we film a test area first if you want certainty.
Film peels clean at return and excess wear charges are where lease money disappears. Most leased M cars we see run the wear and tear pack at minimum.
Inside the first fortnight is ideal. The paint is fully cured from the factory and the car has not yet met a freeway gravel truck.
