Rolls Royce Paint Protection

Rolls Royce Paint Protection in Melbourne

A Rolls Royce bonnet is the largest unbroken stretch of paint on anything we film, and it sits flat where stones and sun both land. Liquid R wraps Ghosts, Cullinans and Spectres in full body film at Mitcham, with the hand painted coachline photographed and logged before work starts. Bespoke Goodwood paint cannot be reordered from a chart, so the original finish is worth defending. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to arrange an inspection. We cover Honda on its own page.

Full Body PPF

The reference start, with every Rolls Royce quoted individually because a Phantom carries far more paint than a Ghost. Full body film covers the lot, including that acreage of bonnet. Allow about a week, longer if the car is two tone.

The Coachline

The coachline is painted by hand at Goodwood and we treat it accordingly. It sits sealed beneath the film rather than taped around, with its condition photographed and logged before any work begins on the car.

Bespoke Paint

Rolls Royce will mix a one off colour for a single customer, and matching it later at a panel shop is somewhere between hard and hopeless. Film keeps the factory coat as the only coat the car ever wears.

Cullinan Front End

The Cullinan gets driven like the SUVs it is, so bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors take the daily hits. Front end film goes on in about two days. A wear and tear pack from $380 covers door edges and the boot sill.

Spectre and Tint

CoolVue tint is metal free, so nothing about the Spectre’s electronics, GPS or phone connectivity is affected. Heat load through the glass drops and the interior hides keep their colour instead of fading. We have written the same guidance for Tesla and EV protection.

Ceramic Coating

Gtechniq ceramic keeps black and two tone finishes deep and makes safe washing easier. On a car washed weekly by hand, coating is what stops the swirl marks accumulating. We have written the same guidance for the Tesla Model S and the BMW M cars.

Correction and Detailing

Machine correction and detailing before film or coating, because film preserves whatever finish sits under it, defects included. Lambswool mats and deep pile carpets get handled with the right tools, not a rental vacuum. Separate guides cover Mercedes and Audi.

Washing a Rolls

After filming, we hand over a simple regime: pH neutral shampoo, soft mitts and no brush washes ever. The full routine lives on our aftercare page. Done right, the car needs less correction over its whole life. We have written the same guidance for Toyota and Mazda.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

Do you film over the coachline?

Yes. The film sits over the hand painted line and seals it, which protects the work rather than hiding it. We photograph and log its condition before starting and after finishing.

What does full body film cost on a Phantom?

From $5980 as a reference start, quoted individually after inspection. A Phantom carries more surface area than almost anything else on the road, so film and hours scale with it.

Is the Spirit of Ecstasy a problem?

No. The mascot and its retracting base are worked around cleanly, with film cut back to a neat line at the plinth. Nothing interferes with the retraction mechanism.

Does tint affect the Spectre's electronics?

No. Defcon films including CoolVue are metal free, so GPS, phone signal and the car’s own systems are unaffected. That is exactly why we run metal free film across the range.

Can you work around a chauffeur driven car's diary?

Yes. Front end film takes about two days and full body about a week. We schedule around the car’s working week and it stays garaged inside overnight.
