Front End PPF
Bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film over about two days. Snow white paint shows road rash early, and a Polestar bumper is not a cheap panel to respray with sensors sitting behind it.
Full Body Film
Long term keepers wrap the whole car, about a week of work quoted per model. Camera housings and the flush handle recesses on the 4 are cut and wrapped by hand rather than left to a generic pattern.
Glass Roof Film
Crystal Shield tames the full length glass roofs on the 2, 3 and 4, cutting summer heat soak without darkening the cabin into a cave. Metal free, like everything else we fit to an electric car.
Metal Free Tint
CoolVue rejects heat without a metallised layer, so range, charging and the driver assistance cameras behave exactly as Polestar intended. It is the tint we recommend for every electric car that comes through. We have written the same guidance for supercar protection and the Porsche 911.
Ceramic Coating
Gtechniq ceramic makes a car that already skips servo visits even lower maintenance: dirt releases with a rinse and the gloss holds through winter. Layer it over film from $650 on protected panels. The same work is set out for Ferrari and the BMW M cars.
Charge Port and Sills
A wear and tear pack films the charge port surround where cables drag, plus door edges and the boot sill. Small money against the scuffs every electric car collects in its first year. The same work is set out for Mercedes and Audi.
