Sedan Paint Protection

Sedan Paint Protection in Melbourne

Sedans carry the longest commutes in Melbourne, and the maths is simple: more highway kilometres means more stone strikes per year on a nose that sits low in the spray line. From a Camry that does 30,000 km a year to a weekend performance car, our Mitcham workshop fits paint protection film, ceramic coating and window tinting matched to how the car is actually used. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 for a quote.

Full Front for Highway Kilometres

A commuter sedan spends its life two car lengths behind traffic at 100 km/h, which is the exact recipe for a chipped bonnet edge and pitted bumper. Full fronts from $1980 in self-healing film cover the strike zone, and high kilometre drivers see the payback at resale time.

Low Splitters and Lips

Performance sedans ride closest to the road and pay for it. The i30 Sedan N has a gaping lower intake and a lip that scrapes driveways, and a Mustang nose is all bumper. Splitter and lip coverage goes into every performance quote because that is where the first damage lands.

Black Paint and Swirl Marks

Dark sedans show washing damage worst: fine swirls that turn the bonnet grey in sunlight. Machine correction during detailing removes the swirls, and a ceramic coating hardens the surface so careful washing keeps it swirl free. Coating over film runs from $650 where both are fitted.

Executive and Prestige Sedans

A Mercedes or BMW sedan often goes back to the dealer at lease end, and lease inspections read panels closely. Film on the front and doors returns the car with factory paint intact, which is cheaper than the alternative conversation at handback.

Tint Across the Glass

A sedan cabin is a glasshouse on a February afternoon. Metal free window tint from $495 in Victorian legal shades drops the heat load, cuts glare on the commute and blocks over 99 percent of UV before it reaches the seats and dash.

Sedans We See Weekly

Toyota Camrys, the Tesla Model 3, Hyundai Sonatas, Commodores still doing daily duty and the Model S, a big fast sedan with a low nose that sits right in the stone line. Every make and model is quoted on its own shape.

Door Edges and Daily Wear

Sedan doors are long, and long doors meet car park pillars. Door edge film, handle cup patches and sill covers deal with the small daily contacts that add up over a five year ownership, for less than the cost of touching up one door.

New Sedan Packages

Our new car protection packages from $1090 to $4090 suit a new sedan in its first week: decontamination, coating, interior protection and tint in one visit, with aftercare instructions for the first wash. The packs scale the same way for an SUV, a wagon or a hatchback.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

Is a full front overkill on a normal commuter sedan?

Not at real commuting distances. Above about 20,000 km a year the bonnet edge and bumper collect strikes constantly, and the film pays for itself in the trade-in inspection. Under that, a bonnet leading edge and bumper package may be the honest recommendation.

Can you cover just the splitter on a performance sedan?

Yes. Splitter, lip and lower bar coverage is a common standalone job on cars like the i30 Sedan N, and it uses thicker film because scrapes there are pressure damage, not just stones.

Will correction remove every swirl from black paint?

Almost all. Deep isolated scratches that catch a fingernail may only improve rather than vanish, and we tell you which ones before machine work starts, not after.

Does tint interfere with the sensors in newer sedans?

No. The films we fit are metal free, so radar, cameras and toll tags behave normally. Shades are kept within Victorian legal limits for every window position.

My sedan is leased. Is film still worth fitting?

Often more so. Film returns the paint to the lessor untouched, and it can be removed cleanly before handback. Lease inspection standards are exactly where chips and scuffs turn into charges.
