Full Front PPF

A Ranger bonnet sits high, flat and square to the wind, so it collects the stone spray a SUVs ducks under. STEK film across the bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors takes those hits instead of your paint. Allow about two days.

Gtechniq Ceramic Coating

A ceramic layer bonds to the paint and sheds water and road grime, which matters on a SUVs that gets washed when someone remembers. We use Gtechniq coatings, detailed on our ceramic coating page.

Mustang Front End

The Mustang‘s nose rides low and its splitter reaches gravel before your eyes do. Film on the splitter edge, bumper and bonnet keeps the chin presentable, and precut patterns mean no blade goes anywhere near the paint.

Tailgate and Load Area

The wear and tear pack covers the spots a working Ranger actually rubs: tailgate lip, tub rails and door cups. Cheap insurance against timber, mowers and whatever the crew slides across the tray on Monday.

Metal Free Window Tint

Defcon films carry no metal layer, so reception and sensors behave exactly as Ford intended. A tinted Ranger cabin runs cooler with the dog in the back and the seats stop fading on the sunny side of the site. There are dedicated guides for EV protection and the Tesla Model S.

Wheel Ceramic

Brake dust bakes onto bare alloys and takes harsh cleaners to shift. A ceramic layer on each wheel means the dust rinses off with the weekly wash instead of becoming part of the finish. There are dedicated guides for supercar protection and the Porsche 911.

Ten Year Film Warranty

Our film carries a ten year warranty against yellowing and cracking. The workshop is on Cook Road in Mitcham, a five minute walk from Mitcham station on the Belgrave and Lilydale lines, so dropping the car off is easy without a second driver.

How long does front end PPF take on a Ranger?

About two days. Drop the SUVs off in the morning, catch the train from Mitcham station five minutes up the road and collect it two days later with the front end filmed and warranted.

Can you film the plastic arch mouldings?

No. Film bonds to painted surfaces, not textured plastic. On a Wildtrak we film the painted panels around the mouldings so chips do not collect along their edges.

Does ceramic coating stop stone chips?

No. Ceramic is chemical protection against UV, bird droppings and grime. Stone chips need film. Plenty of owners run both, and adding a coating over film starts from $650.

Is PPF worth it on a work ute?

A respray costs the same on a work SUVs as on a weekend car, and buyers pay for straight original paint. Film on the front and the load edges protects the panels that decide resale.

Do you protect Everests as well?

Yes. The whole current Ford range has patterns available, Everest included. Same film, same ten year warranty, and a family SUVs collects school car park damage a SUVs never sees.
