Wagon Paint Protection
Wagon Paint Protection in Melbourne
Wagon owners are the long distance realists of Australian motoring: family in the back, luggage over the lip, country kilometres on the clock. An Octavia wagon doing country runs collects more stone strikes in a year than a city car sees in five. Our Mitcham workshop protects wagons with paint protection film, ceramic coating and window tinting matched to touring life. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Country Kilometre Film
Highway touring is a constant feed of stones, bugs and truck spray into the front of the car. A full front from $1980 in self-healing film takes all of it, and on a wagon we extend coverage along the lower doors where country gravel rakes the sides.
The Boot Lip Problem
The tray end is where utes lose value, and the boot lip is the wagon equivalent. Dog crates, luggage and hardware slide over the same painted edge every week. A clear film patch over the lip and bumper top surface makes the loading zone scratchproof and is invisible once fitted.
Roof Rails, Boxes and Bikes
Wagons carry things on top: roof boxes, bike carriers, kayak cradles. Every mount clamps and rubs. Film under rack feet and along the rail contact lines stops the shiny wear patches that give away a hard working roof, fitted before the racks go on for a clean bond.
Ceramic for Touring
Bug strikes etched into a bonnet after a summer road trip are paint damage, not dirt. A ceramic coating from $980 keeps insects, tar and road film from bonding, so the post-trip wash is a rinse rather than a rescue. Gtechniq chemistry is our default fit.
Long Drive Tint
Hours of glare wear a driver down before the destination does. Metal free window tint in legal shades cuts glare and heat for the whole cabin and blocks over 99 percent of UV for the kids and the cargo area alike, with darker legal options behind the driver line.
Interiors That Work Hard
Dog hair, sand and school kit live in a wagon boot. Interior detailing brings the load area back, and fabric or leather protection applied afterwards makes the next clean-out faster. It suits anyone juggling a wagon and a family schedule.

Brought in my Tesla on a Friday and got in back the very next Friday for a full body PPF + graphene coating on top. To start with, this timeframe is impressive given the job they have done. On top, from start to finish, I received excellent communication and professionalism along the way, and of course, a flawless job done on the vehicle. It's hard to write any negatives, my car came out looking twice as good as…

Took my car for PPF and ceramic coat. I was very pleased with the result when I picked up the car. On top of that, Jacky is very honest and friendly, highly recommended Liquid R to all car lovers and enthusiasts out there. I will be back with my other cars for sure.

Jackie and the team at liquid R have installed Bushwraps on 2 of my Hiluxs now and they have both been perfect, the most recent one also had custom work done. The vehicle came straight from the dealer and we spent the time to work out exactly what I was after, the work was completed then the vehicle went to ARB.

Car tinted done. The Xpel XR plus film is definitely better than other films (3M or Suntek) for the heat rejection. The staffs (Jacky and Bobby) were very nice (10/10). Little hiccup but Jacky making sure everything is…

Hey there! So, you've been eyeing up that ceramic-coated shine for your ride, right? Well, let me tell you about my experience at Liquid R. It took a bit of patience to snag a spot – a couple of months, to be exact – but boy, was it worth the wait! At first, I admit, I had my doubts. But as soon as I saw the finished job, any hesitation melted away like snow in the Aussie sun.

Jacky and the crew at Liquid R completed full PPF (paint protection film) on my SQ8, the end result is out standing! 🤩🤩🤩 never in my life have i seen water bead off body panels like it does now!! They even put PPF on my lower door sills so my wheelchair doesn't scuff my paint work when i get in and out. i have booked in my 2nd car for PPF as well…

Between the two. The roofline and cargo area add surface over the equivalent sedan, but less than a tall SUV. We quote from the actual car, so an Octavia wagon and a Superb wagon price differently.
Under fixed factory rails, no, but the contact lines beside them can still be covered. Removable crossbars and boxes come off, get their contact points filmed, and clamp back on over the protection.
That is the classic wagon injury. A film patch over the bumper top surface and boot lip takes claw contact without marking, and it is the single most requested wagon job we do.
Almost always with a normal wash, if dealt with inside a week or two. On uncoated paint the acids etch in within days of hot weather. Coating buys you time and makes removal safe.
No. It is the same optically clear film as the front end, wrapped at the edges. On metallic paint you would need to be told it is there to find it.
